In this freelancing job, I took on the responsibility of organising a group of enthusiastic Polish students who were eager to improve their English language skills in preparation for the A-Levels and GCSEs equivalents in Poland. Throughout this engaging chapter of my career, I was simultaneously attending various courses focused on effective line management, leadership, and Learning Theory teaching techniques. During this time, I was also delivering lessons that covered essential aspects of grammar, vocabulary, literature, and effective learning strategies. The opportunity to combine my studies with hands-on teaching experience allowed me to apply the newly acquired skills from these courses directly to my practice, while also receiving valuable feedback from my students regarding what methods suited their individual learning styles best. This journey proved to be very personal and impactful for each student, as their individual needs were diverse and unique. Our success stories ranged impressively from helping one pupil improve her grade from a D to an A in less than seven months, to another student who found inspiration in my lessons and the topics we discussed, ultimately deciding to pursue a career as a copywriter and translator.

I always felt encouraged, listened to and supported. Mati was incredibly patient, and no matter the challenge, he found a creative way to help me understand. I passed my GCSEs with 94%—just a few months ago I was barely getting Cs!
